I believe that mental health is whole-body health. My approach is rooted in the understanding that the brain does not operate in isolation; it is deeply connected to the gut, the immune system, and the nervous system as a whole.
Many patients come to me after feeling unheard — or after treatments that only addressed symptoms without looking at the underlying biological and psychological drivers. In our work together, we look for the why.
My goal is to bridge the gap between traditional psychiatry and functional medicine. I offer a space that is clinical yet warm — a place where you are treated as a complex human being, not a diagnosis. We will explore how your environment, your history, and your physiology are all speaking to each other.
Medication, when appropriate, is prescribed thoughtfully and conservatively, always in the context of the whole picture. I use advanced gastrointestinal testing to assess gut dysbiosis, inflammation, and microbial imbalance — because the gut-brain axis is not a fringe concept; it is one of the most robust and exciting areas of contemporary neuroscience.
The state of your gut genuinely shapes your mood, your cognition, your stress response, and your capacity to heal.
